Biography
Brivara Moonglade was not born in the traditional sense, but rather created through Biomancy rituals by a member of the Biomancer’s Syndicate named Vita Offertor. The Biomancer’s Syndicate had found a hidden cache of the rare and powerful substance Etherium, which they used to experiment with the creation of new life forms. Vita Offertor, obsessed with creating the perfect weapon, created Brivara by combining the blood and matter of different races.
Brivara was constantly experimented on, tortured, and trained to be the perfect killing machine for the first 12 years of her life. However, during a transportation to a new facility for further training, Brivara managed to escape. She fought her way through the guards and fled into the forests near Mercadia, determined to put as much distance as possible between herself and her captors.
In the Feywild, Brivara met Taiveo, a playful and mischievous faerie dragon who became her constant companion and familiar. Taiveo showed Brivara around and taught her the ways of the Feywild, introducing her to the Eladrin of Mithrendain and their magical ways. Over time, Brivara began to adapt to life in the Feywild, learning the art of bladesinging and studying under the tutelage of Gildor Airendil.
Despite her newfound freedom and happiness, Brivara never forgot about her past. She knew that her creators were still out there, creating more abominations like her. She knew that she had to do something to stop them. And so, with Taiveo by her side, Brivara began her journey back to the material realm, determined to stop the Biomancer’s Syndicate once and for all.
After spending most of her life in the Feywild, Brivara has no understanding of how things work in the material realm. In order to locate her creators in the massive city of Mercadia, she needs to make some friends who can help her. She is haunted by fey laughter that only she can hear, though she knows it’s just her mind playing tricks on her. She has a childlike sense of wonder, wanderlust, and easily loses track of time. She always carries her trusted longsword, Fate’s Last Dance, and The Star of Titania, a thrown weapon.
Brivara had a “sibling” creation whom she wants to rescue, but she is unsure whether her sibling wants to be rescued or is still obedient to their master. Since returning to Mercadia, she has been living on the streets, finding food and making friends who can help her achieve her mission of stopping the Biomancer’s Syndicate. Overall, Brivara is a powerful, yet vulnerable character with a traumatic past and a determination to change the course of her life and prevent others from suffering as she has.
