Spotted by Damien and Rafe outside of Aurora’s Realm Shop, spying on them across the street at The Copper Ante, Erko was a Goblin scout the Iron Shepherds. After a chase from The Order (minus Hayden), and a short interrogation from Rafe Shadowblade, Erko is convinced to point them into the direction of Krark’s Crew, taking them to the Black Well Court sewer entrance.
Weeks later, Hayden Sconey and Regan Fernfrond have a run-in with Erko at the Triumvirate, as Erko had seemingly won a warg-like creature in a bet and was told he needed to register his new pet or they would take it away from Erko. Erko tells Regan and Hayden his story, but through the lines and crowds moving to get registered pets, Erko slips away to his own business.
A few more weeks pass and Regan asks Hayden to find Erko. Hayden scrys on Ekro to find him, seeing that he is in the Bonder’s Enclave of the Arboreal Alliance grounds, wishing to bond with his new animal companion. Erko is eventually found by Regan as she volunteers herself to help Erko train to bond with his animal. It’s determined that his pet was in need of rehabilitation from being used in fighting pits amongst Mercadia’s underground rings.
