She is 34 years old, 5’2”, and 130 lbs. She has short, tousled, chestnut hair that is often filled with sprigs of leaves. She wears a brown leather bodice as light armor over a hooded forest green tunic and dark brown leather forearm guards. She wears dark khaki pants with a dagger strapped to her thigh and weathered calf-high brown leather boots. A quiver is belted to her back along with her new found weapon the Staff of the Anima, which is currently transformed into a bow.
She is free-spirited and values personal freedom. She follows her own moral code without a thought for laws of the city. She distrusts authority because she doesn’t understand why one person should have the ability to have the ability to tell others how to live their lives. She is slow to trust that outsiders have good will towards her, but she is very eager to gain knowledge about other races and customs. She is naïve and can be gullible when it comes to secular ways, but she is extremely competent when it comes to survival skills. She is very in tune with nature and animals, and it is a number one priority for her to defend them. Sometimes she will use her outsider status to her advantage, and she will pretend not to speak the local language to get out of having unwanted interactions. She is not always aware of people’s personal space and may occasionally say something mildly offensive when she is oblivious to social rules.
She is also proud to have Talon (aka Chub) as her trusted animal companion, forming a bond with this cub and later inspiring her new friends to name their adventuring group, The Order of the Owlbear, after his cuteness (and many other qualities).
As per tradition, Regan embarked on a pilgrimage, and that is where she met Damien and Rafe Shadowblade in a shady tavern on the way to Mercadia. They bonded over a bar fight and made their way together to Mercadia. Weeks later, in Mercadia, she has undergone a sacred ceremony underneath the World Tree in the Arboreal Alliance grounds that involved a Seed of the World Tree.
