Through a brazen confrontation from The Order of the Owlbear, Vita was able to show part of his true nature and prowess to them, overcoming them in a battle in his own hidden laboratory.
Vita possesses a staff infused with Etherium itself to craft spells that empower their effectiveness and damage to his foes. Vita also has the ability to move from body to body (his own creations set up in locations known only to him) in case any goes gets close enough to injuring him.
His true form is unknown, but [character:7208723|Brivara] was able to witness the grotesque mutated transformation of Vita into some form of malformed organic dragon, just before finishing her off and knocking the entire Order into a dream state, captured, and under his control.
The Order was able to awaken from their slumber and escape their pods, break control from Vita, but a new battle and a new confrontation holds the future of Vita and The Order in the balance as Vita seems to control a reanimated Elder Brain!
The Elder Brain Dragon
The Order of the Owlbear tracked down Vita in the chamber of the reanimated Elder Brain. Through many spells, chaos, mutation, mental manipulation, Vita fought hard against The Order – mocking them in foreboding words for their lack of knowledge of things to come. As the battle raged on, and the Ender Brain was slain by Ulver, the shifted form of Ulver focused heavily on Vita, taking him down while Vita was still in his second transformation.
With a burst of mutation and energy, Vita instantly transformed, knocking Brivara and Ulver back tens of feet away as Vita turned into an Elder Brain Dragon – his final form! The rest of the Order, in shock, pushed through and fought hard as Vita cancelled spells, grappled their allies, and even hit some of them with an infection psychic brine breath! But all was not lost. As the cavern started collapsing boulder by boulder, The Order overwhelmed Vita with persistence by Rafe, launching endless attacks at the mutated Draconic form of Vita. With Wren feverously boosting The Order’s health and defenses, Vita took fireball attacks and punches from [character:7212629|Hayden]’s Arcane Hand, massive slashes from Brivara’s Fate’s Last Dance, and a massive Lightning Bolt from [character:7198628|Rafe].
But the final blow came from a vicious Ulver, emerging fiercely from the Elder Brain pool, running toward Vita with a psychic blade, triggering his Shadow Pounce ability as he teleports onto Vita – barely holding onto him from the bottom of Vita’s belly. Two final claw slashes eviscerate Vita in his gut as his monstrous form falls with a heavy impact.
Vita’s final words to the order, his last dying breath: “No matter what you do in the end…you’ll see I was right…you’ll see the truth of what waits beyond the veil is coming…and you’ve made it all so much easier…” as he expires, leaving behind Vita’s Etherium Staff.
